How do I buy a used center console in Florida through a broker?
Tell a broker the size of boat, how you plan to use it and what you want to spend. What it depends on
Hull and use. A catamaran like a Freeman, a deep-V offshore boat and a hybrid bay boat are all sold as center consoles. Decide where you will fish before you compare prices.
Engines and equipment. On a used center console the outboards, electronics and tower or T-top are a large part of the value. Two boats of the same model can be priced far apart for that reason.
Where the boat is. The right boat may not be at your marina. A broker who can arrange the showing, sea trial and survey where the boat is kept saves the trip.
