Captain Jason Diver

A lifelong Southwest Florida local, Captain Jason Diver was born in Naples, Florida, and introduced to fishing and boating at an early age. By 18, he had already logged thousands of hours on the water and earned his USCG Captain’s License.

Early in his career, Jason ran a variety of vessels for private clients, gaining extensive hands-on experience with numerous production boats. Over time, he saw firsthand how often buyers were misled into purchasing the wrong boat — and that’s when he set out to make a difference.

Having spent countless hours at the helm of nearly every boat on the market, Jason brings a level of real-world insight that no owner’s manual or sales pitch can offer. His deep, firsthand knowledge empowers buyers to make informed decisions based on performance, handling, and actual experience — not just specs on paper.

Today, Jason operates a fleet of Freeman boats out of Southwest Florida, offering offshore trips ranging from 80 to 180 miles into the Gulf. He has access to every size Freeman — from the 28’ to the 47’ — for sea trials, with the 35’, 37’, and 43’ models also available for charter.
