Originally from Central Florida, James moved to the Jacksonville area to attend the University of North Florida. After graduating, he and his wife Bethany decided to make Northeast Florida their permanent home.

A true outdoorsman, James is an avid fisherman, spearfisherman, and a former National and World Champion wakeboarder. Off the water, he enjoys bird hunting with his two dogs, Waylon and Jett.
